Consent and Context

This read-only page displays the draft participant-facing instrument for review. It does not collect or export responses.

Standard opening script: Thank you for taking the time to speak with me. This conversation is part of a study on how participants make sense of generative AI in relation to teaching and learning. There are no right or wrong answers; I am interested in your honest experience, including where you disagree with how others frame these issues. Your participation is voluntary, you may skip any question, and you may stop at any time. With your permission I will record the interview with audio and video to support accurate transcription and analysis; you may decline recording. Do you have any questions before we begin? Do I have your permission to record?
Eligibility: age 18 or older, currently enrolled at a college or university, and enrolled in grade 10, 11, or 12 during the 2022–2023 school year.
Research caution: students may skip any question. Avoid collecting school names, course names, instructor names, or other direct identifiers unless approved.
Optional browser-local audio: the live interview may be recorded with audio and video through the separate IRB-approved process. This page does not capture video. Only the closing response may be recorded in this browser as audio, and only when written recording permission is confirmed. The participant may decline recording and still take part.
All response data remains local until export.
