Thank you for taking part. I am interested in how school and system leaders make sense of generative AI in their work, including settings where it is used, limited, not used, or remains uncertain.

I am looking for descriptions of particular situations and the reasoning behind decisions. Longer answers and concrete examples are usually more helpful than short answers. There are no preferred positions or correct responses. If a question does not fit your experience or authority, please say so and explain why. You may also question a premise in anything I ask.

Please avoid names or details that identify a student, family member, employee, school, or district. You do not need to disclose confidential procurement, security, legal, personnel, or incident information. I may ask follow-up questions to understand what you observed directly, what came to you through others or data, what shaped a decision, or how your thinking changed.

Research caution: avoid naming staff, students, families, schools, or districts in open responses unless the approved protocol explicitly allows it.
Recording scope: this page does not record browser audio or video. If the participant gives written permission for interview recording, use the separate IRB-approved audio recording process. The participant may decline recording and still take part.
