What this set demonstrates

Each tool turns a section of the written thought experiment into something a reader can do rather than only read. Together they model the study’s central commitment: knowledge produced with a community should return to that community in usable form. The tools are static, dependency-free HTML/CSS/JS pages designed for GitHub Pages, consistent with the dissertation’s instrument architecture (no server, no database, no data collection).

Design principles

No data collection. Every tool runs entirely in the browser; nothing is stored or transmitted, mirroring the IRB posture of the dissertation’s instrument suite. Framework-honest. The tools present the Pedagogical Friction Framework as an empirical question, not a settled conclusion — the Scenario Explorer exists precisely to show what happens when the data push back. Practitioner-first language. Framework vocabulary appears alongside ordinary professional terms (the head, the room, the world, the system) so the tools are usable without the theoretical apparatus.
